As the College Administrative Officer, Alan manages the business, IT, and building management groups. His administrative and nonprofit career covers decades of executive experience, including Director of Operations for the Georgia chapter of The Nature Conservancy and Vice President for Administration at the CDC Foundation. He has a B.S. in Biology from Geneva College and an M.S. in Biology from Lehigh University – he started off his professional life in industrial water disinfection. He holds two U.S. Patents for water treatment products!
