Frank Clark, Professor
Dr. Frank Clark is an award-winning multimedia composer, performer, and consultant whose creative work explores the intersections of narrative, meaning, and image. He was the first tenured faculty member in music in the history of Georgia Tech and served as Chair of Music from 2002-2018. During that time, Dr. Clark led the transition of music at Tech from a purely service orientation to become an internationally recognized interdisciplinary academic and research center in Music Technology. He was also the first to offer online courses in music technology, jazz history, and music theory courses, which currently enroll over 600 students per semester.
